STORM LOOK FOR THIRD-STRAIGHT WIN

SIOUX FALLS, SD – The Sioux Falls Storm (6-5) take on the Bismarck Bucks (3-9) on Saturday, June 11 at the Denny Sanford Premier Center. The show will start at 6:45 PM. The Storm come off a 42-34 victory over the Iowa Barnstormers last week for their second straight win on the road. In that game, quarterback Dalton Sneed threw 10-of-18 with 93 passing yards, two passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown. Wide receiver Carlos Thompson Jr. had six receptions for 59 yards and two touchdowns. Defensive back Mike Alvarez led the way with seven tackles, and linebacker Marquis Hendrix following with five tackles. Kicker Sawyer Petre went 4-for-5 on field goals.

The Bucks have lost the last seven games with their last game to the Frisco Fighters 24-55. Bucks quarterback Jayru Campbell threw 18-for-26 for 135 yards with three passing touchdowns. Running back Edward Vander had 29 rushing yards and wide receiver Edgar Allen Poe Jr. had seven receiving catches for 53 yards and one touchdown. Leading the way for their defensive was defensive back Jamal Hicks with nine tackles. Kicker Chase Albaugh went 1-for-4 on field goals with two of them being blocked.

The Storm are tied for third place in the Eastern Conference standing with five games left in the regular season. The top four teams in each conference will qualify for the playoffs. The Storm are currently 0.5 games ahead of the Quad City Steamwheelers for fifth place in the conference.
