SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Sioux Falls Storm (12-2) will host the Nebraska Danger (8-6) on Saturday, June 10h at 7:05pm for their last regular season home game. Dakotaland Autoglass will present the game.
The team's annual Salute to Military Night will host many activities in-and-around the game that honors local veterans and active duty members of the military. Military personnel (active or retired) receive a free ticket and can purchase unlimited $5 for friends and family at the Premier Center Box Office. Storm game worn jerseys will be raffled off and given away after the game to help support the Warriors Never Give Up non-profit Military organization here in Sioux Falls. In addition, the Storm will host a special Silent Auction of National Sports Memorabilia items and local gift donated by area businesses.
The Storm is looking to extend a one-game win streak after defeating the Colorado Crush 51-29 on Saturday, June 3rd during a week 15 Indoor Football League battle. In that game, quarterback Lorenzo Brown threw 12 of 22 for 118 yards and two touchdowns, he also rushed nine times for 31 yards and one touchdown. Wide receiver Korey Williams tallied four receptions for 23 yards and one touchdown, he also had two rushes for 15 yards and one touchdown. Wide receiver Mike Tatum had four grabs for 59 yards and one touchdown, while running back Robbie Rouse rushed for 51 yards and one touchdown. Justin Syrovatka went two for two on field goals. Elijah Fields and Carlton Watkins each had six total tackles for the Storm.
For the Danger, the team is looking to extend a one-game win streak after a tightly contested game against the Cedar Rapids Titans. The Danger emerged victorious 52-46. In that game, quarterback Drew Powell threw for 146 yards, ran for 102 yards and accounted for five total touchdowns. Receivers Jared Higgins had 54 receiving yards and Dimitri Stimphil had one touchdown and 43 receiving yards. Running back Rob Brown had 39 rushing yards and one touchdown. The Danger defense had 37 total tackles, one interception and two pass break-ups.
