Knight Tatum Return Sioux Falls Storm 2017Sioux Falls, SD - The Sioux Falls Storm is elated to announce the signings of LB Tyler 'Superman' Knight and Mike 'The Weapon' Tatum to the Storm's 2017 championship run.

Knight (6'0, 225) the two-time IFL Defensive Player of the Year returns to the Sioux Falls Storm for his fifth season.The Mississippi Valley State Alumni joined the Storm in 2011, when he played a critical role in the Storms championship run, collecting a total of 104 tackles. In 2012, Knight joined the Kansas City Command of the AFL. Knight returned to the Storm in 2013 and proceeded to dominate the league, racking up 153 tackles (Storm single season record and second highest in IFL history). During the 2016 season, Tyler garnered 169 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, three interceptions, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, eight blocked kicks and eight pass breakups. Knight was named to the All-IFL Second-Team Defense roster in 2015, the All-IFL First-Team Defense roster in 2016 and is a five-time IFL Defensive Player of the Week.

Tatum (5'10, 170lbs) will be entering his fifth season with the Storm for the Indoor Football League's (IFL) season. During the 2016 season with the Storm, Mike totaled 200 rushing yards on 35 attempts and accrued six touchdowns, 758 receiving yards on 54 receptions with 18 touchdowns and ensued 179 return yards on ten attempts.
