High School: T.J. played fullback as well where he rushed for 190 yards and four touchdowns on 27 carries in 2011.

• Neal was named to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Fabulous 22 team, the East Regional Fabulous 22 team and the All-Foothills Conference team at linebacker in 2011.

Personal: T.J. is the son of Mia Piri and Tyrone Neal. He has three sisters, Tyasiah, Tyla and Tyaira. His daughter’s name is Ty. He received his bachelor’s degree in sport management from Illinois and was working toward a master's degree in the College of Education.
