Professional (2017-present): Miles was invited to New Orleans Saints rookie minicamp. Bergner played for the Colorado Crush of the Indoor Football League (IFL) during the 2017 season. He signed with the Sioux Falls Storm for the 2018 season.
• Miles was named IFL Special Teams Player of the Week in 2017 and 2018.
• Bergner was named to the First Team All-IFL squad in 2018.

Senior (USD, Vermillion, SD, 2016): Miles served as team’s punter, place-kicker and kickoff man in all 11 games and became the Coyotes' all-time leading scorer this season with 276 points.
• Bergner was the 2016-17 USD Male Scholar Athlete of the Year.
• He became the first player in the 32-year history of Valley football to be named both a First Team All-Missouri Valley Football Conference (MVFC) punter and First Team All-MVFC place-kicker.
• Miles was named the top FCS punter by all five All-America publications (AP, AFCA, Walter Camp Football Foundation, STATS, Hero Sports).
• He was one of 11 players selected to the FCS ADA All-America Team and was also named to the ADA Academic All-Star Team.
• Bergner earned a spot on College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA)’s Academic All-District Team and was selected to the MVFC All-Academic Team.
• He was a finalist for the Fred Mitchell Award.
• Miles was on the winning team at the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl in California.
• Bergner earned nine MVFC Player of the Week awards during his career and received the MVFC President's Council Academic Award, MVFC Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Award winner and was a MVFC Conference Honor Roll member.

Junior (USD, Vermillion, SD, 2015): Miles served as the team’s punter, place-kicker and kickoff man in all 11 games and made all 27 extra-point attempts and 14 of 22 field goals. He had five makes of at least 45 yards including one from 50 and another from 53. Miles had 18 touchbacks on 47 kickoffs, averaged 41.4 yards per punt, which ranked fourth in the MVFC and 24th nationally.
• Miles earned Second Team All-MVFC honors as a place-kicker and Honorable Mention honors as a punter.
• Bergner earned three MVFC Special Teams Player of the Week honors.
• He was named to the Watch List for the Fred Mitchell Award.
• Miles was named to the Valley’s All-Academic Team.
• He was also named to the FCS Athletic Directors Association Academic All-Star Team.
• Bergner was the MVFC Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Award winner and MVFC Conference Honor Roll member.

Sophomore (USD, Vermillion, SD, 2014): Miles served as team’s punter, placekicker and kickoff man in all 12 games. He made all 16 field goal attempts heading into the season finale. Bergner had the fourth-best field goal percentage in the nation (.941), the 15th-most field goals in the nation (16), was 5-for-5 on field goals of 40 yards or more, averaged 41.9 yards per punt, which ranked second in the MVFC and 17th nationally, pinned 19 punts inside the 20 and six inside the 10, had 17 punts of 50 yards or more, made 19 of 21 extra points, had eight touchbacks on 42 attempts and had two special teams tackles.
• Miles earned honorable mention all-MVFC honors.
• He was named the Beanie Cooper Special Teams Player of the Year (USD award).
• Bergner was twice honored by the Fred Mitchell Award (for the months of September and October) for his excellence on the football field and in the community.
• He won the MVFC Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Award and was a MVFC Honor Roll member.



Freshman (USD, Vermillion, SD, 2013): Miles played in all 12 games and served as punter and kicker for the Coyotes throughout the season. He made 12-of-21 field goals and 21-of-23 extra points, averaged 40.4 yards per punt and 59.4 yards on kickoffs, had nine punts of 50 yards or more, pinned 16 punts inside the 20 and six inside the 10, had 11 touchbacks on 46 kickoffs. Bergner ranked third in the MVFC and 28th nationally in field goals per game, ranked third in the MVFC and 39th nationally in punting.
• Miles earned MVFC Special Teams Player of the Week honors following his first collegiate game when he kicked a 39-yard field goal and pinned five punts inside the 25-yard line and earned the honor again after the conference opener when he made a game-winning 41-yard field goal.
• Miles was a MVFC Honor Roll member.

High School: Miles participated in the U.S. Army All-American as a senior after being named to the Kohl's All-American team as a junior. He connected on 28 of 37 field goals (10 of 11 as a senior) with a long of 55 yards and recorded 158 touchbacks on 199 kickoffs. As a senior, Miles had a net punting average of 43.5 yards after averaging 40.3 net yards per attempt as a junior.
• Miles was twice named First Team All-State, First Team All-Northern Conference and Northern Conference Special Teams Player of the Year.

Personal:
Miles is the son of Kim and Bruce Bergner.. He was a criminal justice and theatre double-major.
