Sioux Falls Storm Overpowered By Tulsa Oilers In 55-41 Offensive Battle

SIOUX FALLS, SD – The Sioux Falls Storm faced a challenging road game against the Tulsa Oilers at the BOK Center in Tulsa, OK, on Saturday night, ultimately falling short with a final score of 55-41.

Despite the loss, the Storm's offense showed resilience, scoring five rushing touchdowns and adding a passing touchdown. Running back KeShawn Williams had a standout performance, rushing seven times for 31 yards and three touchdowns, while also contributing six catches for 22 yards. Wide receiver Dreysean Hudson made significant contributions with four catches for 45 yards and a receiving touchdown, in addition to rushing twice for six yards and two touchdowns. Kentrez Bell led the Storm's receivers with four catches for 50 yards. Quarterback Lorenzo Brown Jr. finished the game 20-for-31, throwing for 181 yards and a touchdown. Brown also added eight carries for 23 yards.

Tulsa quarterback Andre Sale had an exceptional game, completing 25 of 37 passes for 216 yards and seven touchdowns. Josh Crockett led all receivers with eight catches for 81 yards and two touchdowns. Jonathan Nance contributed seven catches for 59 yards and two touchdowns, while Alexis Rosario added four catches for 28 yards and two touchdowns.

On the defensive side, Kendricks Gladney Jr., returning from a minor knee surgery, tied for the team lead with seven tackles. Rome Weber also recorded seven tackles and an interception, marking his second consecutive game with a pick. Tulsa linebacker Jordan Jones led all tacklers with 11 total tackles, including 10 solo.

The loss dropped the Sioux Falls Storm to 3-8 on the season. The Tulsa Oilers snapped a six-game losing streak with this victory, sweeping the season series against the Storm for the first time in franchise history.

Looking ahead, the Sioux Falls Storm will be on the road again next week for a Saturday night clash with the 9-3 Frisco Fighters. Storm fans are encouraged to visit Great Shots on Saturday, June 22nd, for the Storm Watch Party.
