Sioux Falls, SD - The Sioux Falls Storm are excited to announce Kayla Evink as the next Head Coach for the Storm Lightning Girls Cheer and Dance Team. Evink, who joined the Storm staff last season as a volunteer assistant and later served as the interim head coach, has officially accepted the position of head coach for the 2024 season.
 
With an impressive background in cheer and a strong commitment to the Storm organization, Kayla brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to her role as head coach. Her dedication and leadership qualities were evident during her time as the interim head coach, earning her the well-deserved promotion.
 
Kayla, a resident of Colton, SD, has been an integral part of the Sioux Falls Storm family. In addition to her passion for cheer and dance, Kayla also works in accounting. Outside of her professional life, Kayla enjoys traveling and attending concerts, adding a vibrant touch to her dynamic personality.
 
When she's not immersed in the world of cheer, Kayla can be found chauffeuring her children to various cheerleading competitions and archery tournaments. Known for her love of random spur-of-the-moment trips, Kayla embodies the spirit of adventure and spontaneity.
