SIOUX FALLS, SD – The Sioux Falls Storm returned to the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center on Saturday night to host the Frisco Fighters in their first home game in five weeks. Both teams exchanged leads throughout the contest, but Frisco's kicker Bryce Crawford nailed a 21-yard field goal as time expired to hand the Storm a 54-51 loss inside the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.
The Storm trailed Frisco 51-47 with 7:50 remaining in the 4
th Quarter before mounting one final comeback attempt. Quarterback Lorenzo Brown Jr pulled out a 22-yard run on the first play of the drive before finding wide receiver
Draysean Hudson in the back of the endzone with a 23-yard touchdown pass to make it a one score game.
Defensive back
Byron Edwards got the Storm back in the game again with 3:04 remaining after picking off Frisco quarterback TJ Edwards in the back of the endzone. It was the first interception of the season for Edwards, who previously played for the Frisco Fighters during the 2021 season.

Frisco got the ball back with 0:35 seconds left in regulation and drove 20 yards down field to set up Crawford's game winning kick.
Frisco quarterback TJ Edwards finished the night going 18-for-27 in the passing game, while throwing for 213 yards and three touchdowns. Edwards also led his team with 7 carries for 46 yards and three rushing touchdowns.
Wide receiver Jordan Jolly lead all receivers with seven catches for 82 yards and a touchdown in the Fighters' win.
Lorenzo Brown Jr ended his night 10-for-22 with 167 yards and five passing touchdowns. Brown also added two rushing touchdowns in the loss.

Donnie Corley Jr. led all Storm players with three catches for 61 yards and two touchdowns.
Dwight Blakey also scored two touchdowns, including one that helped tie the game late in the 4th quarter.
The Storm will be back on the road next week against the Tulsa Oilers on June 17
th. It will be the first trip to Tulsa for the Storm in franchise history. Sioux Falls holds a 1-0 record against the Oilers after picking up a home win (52-35) back on May 6
th.
