The Blizzard lost their first two games of the season before picking up their The lone win of the season on March 31st against the Iowa Barnstormers (44-25).

The Blizzard lost back-to-back games to start the year, including a 76-30 loss in the season opener against the Frisco Fighters, and a 55-41 loss to the Massachusetts Pirates.

The Blizzard's top offensive threat is Ja'rome Johnson. The dual-threat quarterback is averaging 136 yards per game through the air, and 48 yards per game on the ground so far this season.

Johnson has five of the Blizzard's nine rushing touchdowns this season.

His 409 total passing yards ranks 4th in the IFL this season.

Blizzard running back Terrance Smith has 4 rushing touchdowns this season to go along with his 69 total yards rushing

Green Bay's top defender is Jakoby Pappillion.

Pappillion has already racked up 20.5 total tackles this season, with 19 solo tackles to his credit.


STORM ROSTER MOVES 
The Sioux Falls Storm Indoor Football team announced on Friday morning that the team has re-signed veteran offensive lineman Lawrence Martin IV for the 2023 Indoor Football League season.
 
Additionally, the Storm have activated defensive lineman Isaiah Blackmon from short-term IR and placed offensive lineman Josh Poe and defensive lineman Ellis Parr on the team's short-term IR list.

Martin IV returns after spending the last four seasons in a Sioux Falls uniform. The University of South Florida product brings plenty of professional football experience to a young Sioux Falls lineup, including a United Bowl championship with the Storm during the 2019 season.

The Daytona County, FL native began his pro career in 2015, making stops with the Arena Football League's Tampa Bay Storm, the Canadian Football League's Winnipeg Blue Bombers, and the Indoor Football League's Nebraska Danger before finding a home in Sioux Falls prior to the 2018 season.

Defensive lineman Isaiah Blackmon will also make his season debut on Sunday after starting the season on the short-term IR list.

Blackmon appeared in six games for the Storm during the 2022 season, recording 10 tackles (6 solo) during his first professional season.

The Sioux Falls Storm will play the Green Bay Blizzard again next weekend (April 21st). It will be the second consecutive week the two teams meet up, this time in Green Bay.

The Storm and Blizzard are scheduled to face each other three times during the 2023 Indoor Football League season.

The final game of the season series will be on June 23rd in Sioux Falls.
