Wide Receiver Aaron Dilworth has signed a deal with the Edmonton Elks of the Canadian Football League.
The Elks have played two games so far in the season out of 20 total games and currently sit at 0-2.
Dilworth saw action in nine games for the Storm during the 2022 season, reeling in 39 catches for 509 yards and eight touchdowns. His season-high in catches was May 14 against the Frisco Fighters. In that game, he had nine receptions for 73 yards and a touchdown.
Dilworth's season-high in yards and touchdowns came June 11 against the Bismarck Bucks. He had 99 yards and two touchdowns, including a 24-yard reception. His longest reception of the season was 35 yards at Quad City May 28.
He played college football at Texas A&M Kingsville and appeared in games in the 2017 and 2018 seasons. In 2017, he appeared in nine games, where had 14 receptions for 208 yards and a touchdown.
In 2018, Dilworth played in all 11 games for the Javelinas. He had 42 catches for 540 yards and seven touchdowns, which was a team-high. Dilworth's best game of the season was a 119-yard reception game off 11 catches and two touchdowns November 3, 2018, against West Texas A&M.
Dilworth was a three sport-athlete at Flour Bluff High School in his hometown of Corpus Christi, Texas. He played football along with participating in basketball and track. While there, he was a district MVP and an All-South Texas MVP.
