The Sioux Falls Storm faced the Wichita Falls Nighthawks at the Storm Shelter on March 25th where they won their fifth game of the season with a 55-21 victory. After tonight's triumph, the Sioux Falls Storm has won 65 consecutive home games.
The Nighthawks would be the first to strike after a 22-yard field goal by Rockne Belmonte to bring the score to 0-3. The Storm would score back-to-back touchdowns after Lorenzo Brown would connect with Mike Tatum for a 21-yard reception and then Korey Williams for a 29-yard reception, putting the Storm on top 14-3 at the end of the first quarter.
Starting the second quarter, the Nighthawks would strike first with a 25-yard field goal by Rockne Belmonte, bringing the score to 14-6. Sioux Falls answered back when Robbie Rouse charged into the end zone, increasing the Storm's lead to 21-6. Wichita Falls would score after Tyler Williams ran in a three-yard touchdown, to bring the score to 21-13. The Storm would end the half when Mike Tatum reeled in the 15-yard pass from Lorenzo Brown bringing the score to 28-13.

The Storm were the only team to score in the third quarter after a four-yard run by Robbie Rouse and then Lorenzo Brown would hit Mike Tatum for a four-yard touchdown pass to make the Storm's lead 41-13.
In the fourth quarter, the Storm scored first after Robbie Rouse ran in a five-yard touchdown, advancing the score to 48-13. The Nighthawks scored when Tyron Laughinghouse caught a 45-yard touchdown cutting the Storm's lead to 48-21. But the Storm would make their final statement after an eight-yard rushing touchdown by Mike Tatum, ending the game 55-21.
Quarterback Lorenzo Brown completed 19 of 21 passes for 187 yards and four touchdowns. Robbie Rouse carried the ball 13 times for 38 yards and three touchdowns. Mike Tatum caught eight passes for 87 yards and three touchdowns, while Melvin German tallied eight grabs for 76 yards and one touchdown. J'Vontez Blackmon, Carlton Watkins, Fred Barnes and Rashard Smith each grabbed an interception. Blackmon led the Storm with seven tackles.
The Storm improves to 5-0 on the season while the Nighthawks fall to 4-1. The Storm returns to action Saturday, April 8th when the Storm will travel to face the Cedar Rapids Titans for a 7:05 kickoff.
