ACCESSIBLE SEATING POLICIES & PROCEDURES
In order to service disabled patrons, the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center reserves seating for patrons with visual, hearing and mobility impairments. In order to better serve our guests, we ask that you please identify any needs you may have at least 72 hours prior to the start of any event when ordering your event tickets. The PREMIER Center Box Office is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM to answer any questions.
For a complete copy of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Policies & Procedures manual, you may obtain information by calling the PREMIER Center management office at 605.367.7288.
SMG Sioux Falls, the management team at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center, strives to provide all patrons with an equal opportunity to participate in all services, programs and activities. This includes those patrons with accessible needs resulting from physical or mental disabilities. In order to achieve an equal opportunity for all patrons, SMG Sioux Falls has implemented policies and procedures which have heightened awareness of the needs of individuals with disabilities as outlined in the text of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
Ticket Sales / Box Office:
Box office personnel will make every attempt to provide the highest service to those patrons with disabilities. This includes close monitoring of ticket sales of accessible seating. Signage will be displayed describing the ticketing policy.
The box office will clearly identify what type of accessible seating each patron requires and where that seating is located for Storm Football games and all events at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center. Box office personnel will have a proper understanding of the events center so as to provide adequate information to patrons with questions about seating areas. The accessible seating will be clearly mapped out on a seating chart.
Wheelchair, Visual and Hearing Impaired Seating:
All wheelchair seating locations will provide a clear line of sight viewing of shows and events. All wheelchair seating positions will be exclusively reserved for patrons who are wheelchair users or have severe physical limitations. All other patrons with accessible needs will be directed to the designated fixed seating areas.
Visual and Hearing Impaired seating is reserved for all Denny Sanford PREMIER Center events and is reserved until the time of the ticketed event, or until such time as the event is sold out.
Companion seats are available for all accessible seating positions, although there may be no more than three (3) companion seats available for each accessible seat.
General Assistance Services:
Assistance services are identified as those services which are provided to patrons with disabilities to eliminate the possibility that they will be excluded from any event activity. The Denny Sanford PREMIER Center makes every available attempt to provide assistance services to all patrons who use the facilities. Assistance services are provided through the use of Ushers and the Director of Operations. Some of the assistive aids and services include assistive listening devices, interpreters, elevator operator, telephone usage, visual assistance, hearing assistance and general customer assistance. Upon the request of any patron, assistance services will be provided free of charge.
The Denny Sanford PREMIER Center will provide interpreters to assist hearing impaired patrons at no cost. All requests for interpreters must be provided to the administrative office at least fourteen (14) days prior to the event by calling 605.367.7288.
Patrons with Service Animals:
Trained guide dogs or service animals assisting patrons with special needs are welcome inside the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.
