Professional (2017-present): John signed with the Sioux Falls Storm for the 2017 season.

Junior (Abilene Christian University, Abilene, TX, 2014): Epps played in all 12 games for the Wildcats, averaging 14.8 yards per punt return and 22.3 yards per kickoff return. He averaged 77.8 all-purpose yards per game. He started two games at cornerback and finished the season with 30 tackles (25 solo) on defense, while catching four passes for 97 yards and one touchdown. He also had six carries for 48 yards.
• John earned Second Team All-Southland Conference honors as a return specialist.

Freshman-Sophomore (Abilene Christian University, Abilene, TX, 2012-13):
Epps played defensive back as a freshman in 2012, finishing the season with five tackles (four solo). He moved to wide receiver before the 2013 season and finished the season with 26 catches for 322 yards and one touchdown.

High School (Boswell HS): In 2009, John rushed for 176 yards and four touchdowns on 19 carries. As a junior in 2010, Epps had more than 400 yards rushing, returned two kickoffs for touchdowns and had four interceptions from his cornerback spot. He finished his career with 59 catches for 621 yards and 10 touchdowns and ran the ball 244 times for 1,465 yards and 18 touchdowns with a long touchdown run of 96 yards.
• John was a First Team All-District 5-4A at running back as both a junior and senior and a First Team All-District pick at defensive back as a junior.
