Johnsen Back for 2011!

The Sioux Falls Storm is pleased to announce that veteran defensive lineman, Cory Johnsen, has signed to play for the Storm in 2011.

Johnsen will be entering his 6th Season as defensive lineman for the Storm where he is 2nd in career sacks, 3rd in all time tackles for loss and ranked 1st in career tackles for loss in the postseason. Johnsen was notably named to the 2009 All-IFL 2nd team.

“Cory’s early signing shows his commitment in helping the “Thunder Defense” return to championship form,” said Storm owner Todd Tryon.

The St. Cloud State University alum finished the 2010 season with 19 tackles, 4 sacks, 1 forced fumble returned for a touchdown and 1 defensive touchdown.

The Sioux Falls Storm is pleased to announce the 2010 Tiger Bowl Football and Cheer Camps will be held Saturday, September 11, 10:30am to 12:30pm at the Harrisburg Football Field.

The Storm has partnered with Avera Sports Institute, Orthopedic Institute, Tiger Nation and Tryon Gym to offer the first ever Tiger Bowl Football and Cheer Camps.

Boys and girls ages 5-14 are invited to join the Sioux Falls Storm and Harrisburg players and coaches to learn the fundamentals of football. Girls ages 5-14 are invited to join the Lightning Girls and Harrisburg Cheer Squad to spend a morning learning a specially-choreographed dance. Be sure to register by September 6 to guarantee a t-shirt. Pre-registration will cost $25 and walk ups will be $35.

Renew your season tickets and "pay in full" by October 1st, 2010 and be the first to receive a 2011 season ticket holder shirt and have VIP access to the Storm Nation Fan Appreciation Night that will include a “Red and Black” scrimmage.
