2010 IFL PLAYOFF FORMAT

Number of Teams: 16 - Number of Rounds: 4

Qualifiers: Top Team in each of the 6 Divisions plus 5 Wild Cards in each Conference

Week 1: First Round - Teams ranked 1-4 will host games versus teams ranked 5-8 in each conference based on geographic proximity

Week 2: Conference Semi-Finals - Teams will be re-seeded 1-4 based on regular season record in each conference - 1st Seed will host 4th Seed in each Conference - 2nd Seed will host 3rd Seed in each Conference.

Week 3: Conference Finals - Remaining two teams play at the higher advancing seeds venue - Winners will be crowned Conference Champion

Week 4: League Championship - Higher seeded Conference Champion hosts lower seeded Conference Champion - winner will be crowned United Bowl Champion of 2010.
